Turnbuckle Bracelet 8"
According to the Encyclopedia of Nautical Knowledge by McEwen and Lewis, a turnbuckle is a mechanical device used in conjunction with shrouds, stays and deck-load lashings. A working turnbuckle is made up of a cylindrical box that has a screw thread (as shown in picture) on one end and a swivel on the other. You can tighten or loosen the turnbuckle by tightening the screw head. They are perfect for anything that needs tension adjustment from time to time. Plus, the gold version makes a beautiful bracelet (please note, you can not manually adjust the size)
