Harp Pin
No Bach Choral.
As stated by Tony Correa: "It just dawned on me that I have a subconscious quirk: I often miniaturize objects that appeal to me and subconsciously visualize them in jewelry form. This harp is the latest example. It happened during dinner at the Dupont Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware: The dining room was empty except for a harpist and only a handful of guests. The musician and her harp were prominent, while not invasive. In fact, the music contributed enormously to the enjoyment of the meal. That experience is solely responsible for this jewelry."
This new harp brooch has been modeled after a Celtic-carved pedal harp, which is often considered the most striking in visual appearance. It took many months, from concept to finished design, to complete this piece. Each string is hand soldered into position. The harp is the oldest stringed instrument and is especially appreciated for its soothing quality of music.
