Horse Llanfihangel Pin
Beloved Uncle John A. Correa, our family everyologist, has submitted a story about "Llanfihangel", our childhood horse: Before Eddy "Avocado" Correa went to law school he spent several years in a monastery in the Brechfa Forest. He took the vows of silence and his job was to care for the little ponies that the monastery rented to a Welsh mining company. As he was one of the few people at the Llanfihangel Monastery who could read and write, the monsignor asked him to compose an agreement with the mining company. While he loved those little ponies, he enjoyed this work writing contracts more than mucking out the stalls. Soon the word got out in the little town of Llanfihangel and more and more people came to Avocado. This work continued to grow and was quite profitable for the monastery, but he definately needed some more formal training. He was the first person the monks ever sent to law school which started a long tradition. Later, when Mother and Dad got a horse, Avocado insisted he be named Llanfihangel after the town and his old beloved monastery.
